Canada use CSA C22.2 No. 0.22-11 “Evaluation methods for arc resistance rating of enclosed electrical equipment” to evaluate internal arc rated switchgear. Internal arc type testing is very important to reduce the risk of exploding switchgear.

How do I know if a switchgear is IAC certified?
