What is a lithium battery solar controller?

A lithium battery solar controller is a type of dedicated solar controller that uses a Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) algorithm to harvest the most energy from the solar array. Like other solar controllers, it comes in MPPT and PWM types. An MPPT solar charge controller has a higher conversion capacity compared to a PWM charge controller, which usually has only 70% conversion capacity.
